Drs. Dalton Wamalwa, Ana Lucia Seminario, and Arthur Kemoli have been awarded a D71 grant in a collaboration among the University of Washington (UW), the University of Nairobi (UoN) and the Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi (KNH) to build research and health system capacity in oral health and HIV/AIDS.

Prof. Walter Jaoko, Director KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research was one of the ten individuals who were honoured at the Ten out of Ten (1O/10) Awards held at the House of Lords in the Palace of Westminster, London on 9th September, 2019.

The Ten out of Ten Awards aims at facilitating an important conversation about the intersection that must converge in order to meet the UN targets of globally ending all new HIV diagnosis by 2030.
